These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the She Connects Dubai website and your participation in any She Connects community events. By accessing our website or attending any event, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. About She Connects Dubai

She Connects Dubai is a women’s community offering wellness, networking and lifestyle events across the UAE. Our website provides information about upcoming events, community updates, and ticketing.

 

2. Website Use

By using this website, you agree to:

• Use the site for lawful purposes only

• Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the website

• Not reproduce any content without written permission

We may update the website or these Terms at any time.

 

2.1 Accuracy of Information

While we aim to keep all information on this website current and accurate, She Connects Dubai makes no representations or warranties regarding completeness, reliability or availability of website content or event details.

 

3. Event Attendance

By purchasing a ticket or attending a She Connects event, you agree to the following:

3.1 Community Standards

She Connects is a respectful, inclusive environment. We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

3.2 Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for your own wellbeing during all events. This includes:

• Participating in fitness or movement activities at your own discretion

• Informing instructors of any injuries or limitations

• Ensuring you are physically able to take part
   

She Connects is not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages arising from participation.

3.3 Photography & Content

We capture photos and videos at events for marketing and community purposes. By attending, you consent to being included in such content unless you request otherwise before the event starts.

To opt out, please speak to a team member on arrival.

3.4 Ticket Policy

• All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us

• Tickets may be transferable upon request (subject to approval)

• Some events may have limited capacity; entry is not guaranteed without a confirmed ticket

3.5 Photography, Videography and Media Usage

She Connects events are documented through photography and videography for marketing, community and brand purposes. By attending any event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You may appear—intentionally or incidentally—in photos or videos captured at the event

• Content may be used across She Connects digital platforms including Instagram, website, newsletters and promotional material

• Content may also be shared with event partners or venues when relevant to the collaboration

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must inform a member of the She Connects team upon arrival.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

Please note: due to the nature of group events, complete exclusion from background footage cannot always be guaranteed.

3.6 Health & Safety

By attending any wellness, fitness or movement-based event, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and are responsible for assessing your own health, limitations and suitability for the activity.
She Connects Dubai, its founders, instructors and venues are not liable for any injuries or health-related incidents that occur before, during or after the event.

 

3.7 Code of Conduct

Attendees agree to conduct themselves respectfully towards all participants, instructors, staff and venues.
Behaviour that is discriminatory, aggressive, inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from the event without refund.
We reserve the right to refuse future attendance to individuals who breach this standard.

 

3.8 Age Requirement

All She Connects Dubai events are designed for women aged 18 and above.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If She Connects cancels an event, you will receive a full refund.
If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date.

We are not responsible for personal travel costs, scheduling conflicts or other external circumstances.

 

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, She Connects Dubai, its founders and ambassadors are not liable for:

• Personal injury or property loss during events

• Decisions made based on website information

• Third-party venue conditions or services

All attendees participate voluntarily and at their own risk.

 

5.1 Third-Party Venues

Many of our events take place in partner venues across Dubai. She Connects Dubai is not responsible for venue conditions, facilities, accessibility, safety, service quality or any incidents that occur on venue premises.
By attending, you agree to follow the venue’s rules, safety guidelines and operational policies.

 

5.2 Personal Belongings

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings at all She Connects events.

She Connects Dubai is not liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal items.

 

5.3 No Professional Advice

Discussions, panels or sessions hosted at She Connects events may include advice or personal perspectives from speakers. This content is for general information only and should not be considered medical, professional or specialist advice.

Attendees are responsible for any decisions they make based on information shared at events.

 

6. Partnerships & Collaborations

All brand, venue or influencer collaborations are subject to separate agreements.
Submitting a partnership enquiry does not guarantee involvement.

 

7. Data & Privacy

Any personal information submitted through forms, ticketing or contact pages is handled securely and used only for operational or marketing purposes.
We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties without consent.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding and materials on this website belong to She Connects Dubai and may not be reproduced, edited or redistributed without permission.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes will be handled under UAE jurisdiction.

9.1 Force Majeure
She Connects Dubai is not liable for any delay, change or cancellation of events caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, venue issues, government regulations, technical failures or unforeseen operational challenges.
In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled at our discretion.
